The Aerials

The Aerials are a Scottish four piece band. They write original quirky tunes, with catchy melodies and theatrical arrangements (some would have you believe...). The music speaks for itself, and is a rioutously eclectic mix of rock, pop and soul. They have toured across Scotland and Ireland, supporting Ocean Colour Scene in Dublin at the Village whilst playing a mini tour of the city, and playing to capacity audiences at King Tuts and Barfly in Glasgow. They have just recorded four new tracks at Maybank studios in Glasgow, finally able to capture the raw vintage sound they have so desired. The lineup is as follows, Alan Marshall with his powerful distinctive voice conjuring up images both surreal and divine, Craig France is the chap on the guitars , Brian Payne is the fella beating the drums and Andrew Lucas plays the Rhodes Piano Bass and tickles the old ebony and ivories as well as providing the harmonies to compliment the dulcet toned vocals. The Aerials stand for good old fashioned original new been done but fresh music. It's a delightful alternative I think you'll find...
