In the summer of 2004, two men were kidnapped and held captive for nearly three weeks. After searching the crime scene, investigators discovered 28 cameras on the premises. The demented killers were making a movie ... and this is the story told by those cameras.
Before Saw ... before Hostel ... There was DEMENTIA: AN EXPERIMENT IN TERROR.
MR. MARTIN is Dementia's twisted soul. He has been described as a cross between Andy Warhol, Grace Jones, and Divine. His desire to right his own wrongs has cost him his humanity and his soul ... or has it? Actor Shawn Hauser says, "The Director, he's a freak. He must've been tortured as a child." Ever dress up a tattooed, cross-dressing, serial killing muscle man? No? Well here's your chance ... Put Mr. M in his Sunday best and worst! Click here...
THE FACE ... Mr. Martin's heavy. When there's blood work to be done, Face is called upon. He does his job with relentless dedication ... no matter how horrific. On the Face, Che Zon notes, "He's just mad at things. Mad at the world. Mad at a lot of things. Have you ever felt that way? It makes me angry." Zon also noted about the filming location, "It was really hot. We got to work in a hot dungeon down below. There was a lot of sweat and stuff." When asked about the diretor, Zon's response is, "Who?"
ELVIN JOHNSTON ... Sarcastic and abrasive, but nevertheless, the story's protagonist is a sympathetic character ... especially as he endures weeks of non-stop horror. "There were times when I really thought I was going to crack," reveals Marcus Barcroft. "I felt the fear. I had to fight the fear."
FRANKIE ... Frankie is the means to an end. In order to get Elvin to change his ways, it is Frankie that must suffer. "Frankie gets turned into man bologna," notes actor Daron McFarland. "He is the resident, bloody pulp."
