About Me

..In 1998, C. Allen relocated from "The Swamp" of hometown Gainesville, Florida, to the "City of Angels," Los Angeles, California. He felt it was his duty to make the move in order to widen his opportunities and to pursue his gifted musical abilities as a career. As a new convert to the hustle and bustle of LA, Allen brought with him a sense of southern hospitality that only a country boy could offer. With his unique combination of personality, work ethic and professionalism, a lot of doors were opened to him. For the next 3 years, his work would include performing studio sessions along with touring the country and abroad within his forte of music, which was Gospel. In the spring of 2002, Allen got a chance to audition for American Idol judge Randy Jackson through Barry Squire, a former drummer and highly reliable source in the industry. This resulted in him accepting several jobs underneath the Idol umbrella and catapulted him into an array of other opportunities to perform various genres of music. Since then, Allen has performed with the likes of, Chris Brown, Clay Aiken, Babyface, Charlie Wilson, Josh Kelly, T-Pain, Heather Headley and many more. He is currently working on a highly anticipated duo project (Kings' Allen) with his brother Paul Allen; A highly recommended & well-versed drummer who has also been working professionally in the industry for several years. Allen has resided and worked in Los Angeles, California for the past 10 years and anticipates further success within his music career as opportunities continue to expand.
