Merry Christmas! Happy Chanukah! Hallelu Yah B'Yeshua!

About Me

Be sure to visit my official website!

Hmm ... Me? In ten words or less? Intelligent Messianic Comic Book Horror Geek. I love the Lord (Yahweh, the God of Israel, and His Son, Messiah Yeshua ). I love my wife! I love my (step)kids! I love comic books, collecting toys, wrestling, horror movies (particularly bad ones), video games, and other junk that I should probably be too smart and mature for. I am an occasional actor (" The Return Of Swamp Thing " and " Road Trip "). Not that it means anything, of course ... just thought some people might want to know.
Oh, you want something worthwhile? Well, my wife and I do run a ministry website at Jewish By Grace . That may be worth a look!

What's your theological worldview?
created with QuizFarm.com
Yes, Calvin was a theological genius. Yes, it is reported that he had absolutely no personality to speak of. You can't brilliant AND charming ... I mean, not everyone can be me! (I'm kidding! Well, maybe.)
You Are 60% Cynical
Yes, you are cynical, but more than anything, you're a realist.
You see what's screwed up in the world, but you also take time to remember what's right. How Cynical Are You?

My Interests

So you want it all condensed down? You want my vast array of interests smooshed into one small text box? Fine, then. Religion is probably my greatest interest, though it goes beyond mere academic involvement. I also collect things: Pez, WWE Classic Superstars figures, comic books, vintage video games, decks of playing cards, Uno cards, Judaica, Monopoly sets, Alice Cooper stuff, and Mr. Potato Heads. Actually, I just pretty much collect odd or vintage toys in general. I love music and movies (with a special place in my heart for cheesy horror).

I love doing the convention circuit. I have fans, dang it, and I want to meet them!

I'd like to meet:

Moshe, Rav Sha'ul, King David, Ronald Reagan, Alice Cooper, Mick Foley, Robin Zander, Stan Lee, Bruce Campbell, and Santa Claus ... in that order.

Television:

I don't get to watch too much television these days. I miss "The Shield" when it's not on. I tend to watch a lot of "Law And Order: SVU." I'll also watch "The O'Reilly Factor," "Mythbusters," "The Simpsons," "Who Wants To Be A Superhero," "America's Got Talent," "Last Comic Standing," and anything about World War II from Discovery or the History Channel.
I also love professional wrestling. Yes, I know it's cheesy and goofy. I don't care. I've watched it for twenty-five years and don't see that changing any time soon. Mick Foley will always be the greatest, but I like a lot of the other guys. Triple H, the Undertaker, CM Punk, Umaga, Ken Kennedy, Santino Marella, Chris Jericho, Edge, and Shawn Michaels are all awesome. I really miss Vader. I also miss the **real** ECW. John Cena still sucks. Yeah, that covers it.
Classics? "I Love Lucy," "Maude," "The Jeffersons," "Growing Pains," "The Many Loves Of Dobie Gillis," "The Dick Van Dyke Show," "Matlock," "Alfred Hitchcock Presents," "Tales From The Crypt," and "Tales From The Darkside."

Heroes:

Our lives will always be full of people who we admire and wish to emulate. There is One, though, that far exceeds what constitues a hero. He had it all: power, glory, authority ... He walked the earth as a King and a God. At His word, His enemies would have been smashed to particles. That's not what made Him a hero, though.
He had such great love and compassion that while I was still His enemy He died on my behalf, taking the punishment that rightfully should have fallen on me. At any moment He could have asserted His ownership over everything, manifesting anything He desired at the slightest whim. He didn't, though. He stepped in and took my place. He showed me mercy and grace that I didn't deserve. He asked for nothing in return aside from my love and respect.
He promised that one day He'll share His kingdom and authority with me. He's made you the same offer if you'll accept it. He had to go away for a little while, but I know He's returning. Man, I can't wait until He gets back. I'll gladly trade being an "F-List Celebrity" for being an "A-List Prince."
