About Me

Sam Huxley is a 20 year old from Birmingham. Is not as boring as that previous sentance suggests.
Playing the guitar, writing songs, and singing is what Sam does most. After toying with the idea of a band, Sam has decided to go it alone. Or, more importantly, he has got a new band, can't think of a new name and decides that he'll take all the glory.
Sam's agenda is to get rid of the likes of fashionistas that parade around on Shockwaves advertising boards and bands 'whose success is measured in column inches in NME, and what clothes they happen to be wearing in that article.......death to pre ripped jeans, and posers that can't play guitar. that isn't rock 'n' roll'
armed with an electric guitar, an acoustic guitar that has seen better days and an army of dedicated superb musicians, Sam has played various venues round the West Midlands, including several prestigious dates at the Carling bar academy in Birmingham with hotly tipped artists such as Cathy Davey, Kubb, Surferosa, Special Needs, The Rocks, The Decemberists and a surreal gig supporting JimBob from Carter USM.
Now living in London and playing numerous gigs in the capital, Sam is going from strength to strength, impressing numerous people along the way, allowing for more people down the front at triumphant gigs.
