.. Fun, loving, determined, courageous, beautiful, humble...and Ready for the World!!!Born July 28th under the fire sign Leo, this feisty firecracker has been making noise within the entertainment industry for over ten years. Born and raised on the South East side of Chicago, Neenahs spent a lot of quality time with her family- still something she adores doing. As a child Neenahs had unconsciously, yet candidly posed for photographs, not knowing that she would end up making a profession out of it. In high school, she joined the fashion and modeling club and took it even further after that. In the year 2000, she started doing runway shows for Chicago entertainer’s Darryl “Latimere” of Latimere Productions and Upstairs Entertainment. But it was two years later when Latimere introduced Neenahs to an opportunity that would soon change her life-- Motions “Classe’ Extravaganza!” With that opportunity, Neenahs represented the number one African-American hair care company in the world- Motions. She modeled and danced her way across the United States on a national tour for two years; during that time she landed top advertisements for the Motions brand in popular magazines such as VIBE, Essence and Ebony. Those awesome print opportunities led to others for major companies like TCB, Miller Beer and Hillshire Farm- which landed her a page in Oprah’s “O” Magazine! With all of her experience as a Professional Model and having learned the “ins and outs” of the business, Neenahs decided to step behind the scenes and wear the producer’s hat. She successfully produced three fashions shows, one for East-West University and two for top liquor brand, Remy Martin. She trained inexperienced models at the university and hired the best experienced models for Remy, landing them a photo spread in RollingOut Newspaper. Even though Neenahs loved modeling, she still had a burning passion for journalism, so she set aside her pumps to finish up her college career. She majored in English and Communications with a strong focus in Broadcast Journalism and has plans to go back for her Master’s degree. Having freelanced for The P.U.B. Report for four years, Neenahs already had tons of experience under her belt; covering interesting stories and interviewing some of the biggest names in the music industry like Rap stars P. Diddy, Ludacris and T.I., New York City Entertainment Gossip Columnist Wendy Williams, R&B superstars Amel Larrieux and the legendary Patti LaBelle (which happened to be her very first interview.) But it was after receiving her Bachelor’s degree in the summer of ’06, when this lady Leo roared on the red carpet at the 2006 BET Awards in LA, which helped her already impressive list of interviews grow tremendously! After completing an internship at FOX News Chicago, Neenahs continued to explore the TV world as a Production Assistant and a News Writer for the station. Neenahs also found time to work on an independent film where she landed the role of lead character on her first shot at acting! Many people often ask her what she does for fun; her reply is usually “Work! Work is fun!” When she’s not doing all of the above, she really enjoys hanging with her closest friends and her family sharing laughs and eating good food. She has a strong commitment to her church, where she mentors young girls, and that helps to keep her grounded. She enjoys roller skating, dancing and karaoke- anything to get a good laugh! And occasionally, she’ll put her pumps back on for a stroll down the runway.
