Labeled as a child prodigy, *Timbuck2* grew up in an era where Hip-Hop was arguably at its best, and Chicago artists began to embark on and distinguish themselves within the ever-evolving Hip-Hop scene. At the age of 12, *Timbuck2* began dee-jaying as the young protégé of the Legendary Chicago DJ *The Twilite Tone*. Timbuck2 embarked on honing his talents and creating his place within the world of music in the early 90's, by becoming a well known face and sound on Chicago's underground Hip-Hop scene.
Being exposed to all genres of music and the Chicago club scene played a major role in shaping his identity and sound as a DJ. Through his ability to command the attention and rock a party at an early age deemed *Timbuck2* worthy of the moniker, "The Youngest in Charge."
Throughout the mid and late 90's as well as into the new millennium, before the age of 21, *Timbuck2* had made his mark on not only the club scene in Chicago but also in every major city in the United States, and began making a name for himself overseas. In 2004, *Timbuck2 *was sought out by the executives of the #1 Radio Station in the Midwest, 107.5 WGCI, as they were seeking to change the sound of Chicago radio. The talent exhibited in the club scene and the buzz created as a result, gained Timbuck2 the opportunity to influence and touch an even wider audience through mainstream urban radio. Upon entering the world of radio, he became the youngest Mixshow DJ and On Air personality in WGCI's history, all the while continuing to dominate the Chicago Club scene; earning accolades such as Chicago's #1 Club DJ (Truth awards).
Shortly after exhibiting his skills and techniques on mainstream Chicago Radio, *Timbuck2* was invited to join the illustrious worldwide DJ crew, *The HeavyHitters*, founded by DJ Enuff; a DJ and On-air personality for the nation's most notorious radio station, New York City's WQHT-Hot 97. His knowledge of all musical genres, their audiences, and what influences and inspires them, spans far past his years. This is immediately apparent upon experiencing his talent on the tables. *Timbuck2* remains an active member of the *HeavyHitter *crew and is committed to continuously inspiring his fellow *HeavyHitters*, despite the difference in audiences and regions they touch.
With 15 years of experience on the turntables, *Timbuck2* is no stranger to the party scene having Dee-jayed for millions of people. Additionally, he has toured on Kanye West's Late Registration tour in 2005 and has been the DJ of choice for celebrities, athletes and artists such as P. Diddy, Jay Z, Brand Nubian, Talib Kweli, Common, 50 Cent, Twista, Lil' Kim, Destiny's Child, Micheal Jordan, The Game, Ciara, Omarion, and countless other musicians, and dignitaries. While committed to distinguishing himself from every other DJ on the planet,Timbuck2 credits his influences to the legendary DJ's as Kid Capri, FunkMasterFlex, DJ Hollywood, Grandmaster Flash, DJ Scratch and 33 1/3.
Utilizing the inspiration those legendary DJ's provided and combining that with an innate hunger to succeed and to share his creative gifts with the world, has allowed Timbuck2 to continue headlining events across the country year after year. Many look forward to experiencing his creative prowess at events such as Super Bowl Weekend, All Star Weekend, Grammy Award Parties, and Memorial Day Weekend festivities. Along with traveling the globe, and seeking to musically reach and touch the ear of every single club patron, Timbuck2's radio show on 107.5 WGCI has consistently been rated #1 since the Summer of 2004, when he joined WGCI.
