I am A Spiritually Militant Brotha With A Conscious Tongue For Spittin' Truth, Spirit & Life, A Mighty Heart Full Of Grace & A Spirit Of Defiance: World-Resistance is my motto! A Hellfightin' Black Man of God in Christ, I have been called to take a stand like a gospel guerilla in the midst of this world, and so here I stand, Jah's Battlecat among the devil's own, a black tiger/rebel lion, burning bright, shining my light within this present darkness. I am a RIGHTEOUS & REVOLUTIONARY blend of Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X. I am, was and always will be a BLACK MAN of GOD in CHRIST, a brotha who is Christ-centered with an African outlook, a black man whose views on CHRISTIANITY and SOCIAL CHANGE have been shaped by MLK JR. and whose perspective on BLACK CONSCIOUSNESS and BLACK NATIONALISM, have been influenced by Malcolm X. I am “unchurchyfied” (meaning: I am FAITHFULL, but I am not traditional). My mission is to make the outside like the inside, to make the below like the above and to unite the two. I am a REVOLUTION, not a RIOT! A Spiritual Militant, I am a Weapon, My Life is a War and this is what I'm fighting for: the chance to STAND UP and CONFRONT SOCIETAL PREJUDICES, to CHALLENGE this WORLD SYSTEM'S RACIST INFRASTRUCTURE and to shake it to it's very foundation! (Acts 17:6) The great revolutionary Ernesto "Che" Guevara, said: "A true revolutionary is guided by great feelings of love." (1 Samuel 4:9/Nehemiah 4:14/1 Corinthians 16:13, 14) Bob Marley once said that, “We overcome the devil with this thing called love.” And I always say that the most revolutionary thing a black man can do in this racist/godless society is to love God, love himself/Black brotherhood and to love, respect & protect black womanhood. When it comes to Black-on-Black Love (B.o.B. Love): I try to remember that I am merely an instrument in God's hands (a weapon) my life is not my own (my life is a war) The battle is the Lord's, and as God’s man o’ war (spiritual warrior), I am required to do only one thing and that is to take a stand & hold my ground (Ephesians 6:10-20). Because I am more about action than talk, I don't always pray long, so I adopted Martin Luther's simple but effective prayer to complete my warrior's mantra (“Here I stand. I can do no other. God help me. Amen.”) and 'He Tan, He Epi Tas' which is Greek, I took from the movie ‘300’ and is loosely translated to mean: “With this [shield] or on this [shield].” (Ephesians 6:16) This reminds me that, by faith, I am God's man of His purpose: Yah's man, a spiritual "Mwalimu" (Swahili for “teacher”) taking his stand in the midst of this materialistic world. I believe I was born for such a time as this (Esther 4:14) and the only reason I am on this earth is because God has divinely created me for the express purpose of UPLIFTING, UNITING and UNIFYING my people by: STRENGTHENING my brothas with my Tough Love, COMFORTING my sistas with my Tender Strength, MOTIVATING the young brothas, INSPIRING the young sistas and ENCOURAGING & ENLIGHTENING this last generation (Omega G) in this present darkness (Matthew 5:14/Luke 16:8/Ephesians 6:12). I am PASSIONATE about two things: My God & My People, I am addicted to the ministry of the saints and I am solemnly devoted to serving my people. The greatest blessing that I could ever receive is the opportunity to honour my God by serving my people as a poor righteous teacher (Proverbs 19:22) and a king without a crown (Proverbs 12:4). I'd like to be remembered for being a good, kind, loving and a strong but gentle man who attempted to live wisely, and who cared a lot. I want to be a helpmate in my generation, a comfort to my commUNITY and my ministry helps me to do that! My heart's desire is to simply be a "GOOD BROTHA": a TRUE MAN/FAITHFULL HUSBAND/GODLY FATHER by imitating my FATHER/GOD (Genesis 1:26; 9:6/1 Corinthians 11:7/Ephesians 5:1) and by following in my BROTHER/SAVIOR'S footsteps (Psalm 12:1/Hebrews 12:1,2)... that's who/what I wanna be in the lives of My Peoples: A Good Brotha, who’s on a mission to turn the ships around!
