Mr. Vee, born 26 Jan 1979, started writing poems in original German in late 1997. Influenced by dark songs of the masters Nick Cave and Leonard Cohen in early 1998. While he continued writing poems in German and English, a guitar came along his way in 2001 and since then he's trying to get the best out of it.
His songs tell mostly about the dark side of love, life and despair.
Mr. Vee recorded his very first song end of December 2004. Actually this song is a strange mixture of acoustic guitar sound with techno samples and spoken words taken from a Erich von Däniken TV documentary. This song appears on his first EP ROUGH MIXES, featuring original songs recorded during spring 2006.
During September-October he recorded GOETHESTRASSE RECORDINGS (named after the street he's currently living) with more professional equipment. The second part of the trilogy is the EP ONE DRUNKEN NIGHT, followed by SAILING BACK EP which is the last part of an odyssey of love, hate, death.
In June 2007 he collaborated with Mr. Nap. Together they recorded two new songs "Everywhere You Go" and "War" featuring Mr. Nap with backing vocals.
You can listen to "Everywhere You Go" here.
