About Me

In the spring of 1995, Shannon Noel was approached by Special Blend Publishing after the owner heard her sing one of her songs a capella. She signed a single-song contract with the company before later signing with Tiger Moon Publishing.
She teamed up with producer/songwriter/musician Shane Iceberg (former bass player for country sensation Joe Nichols) to write and record a country-pop CD. The project, entitled "Come What May", was released on Tiger Moon Records in 1998 and featured such guest stars as renowned fiddler Buddy Spicher (Patsy Cline, Crystal Gayle...), steel player, Buck Reid (Jon Anderson, Lyle Lovett...), and Bill Guest (Anne Murray...). Many of the songs on the album received radio play in Florida, Nova Scotia, and France, and led to several radio interviews for the singer/songwriter.

In 2002 Iceberg and Noel went back to their rock roots to write and record a psychedelic-rock project entitled "Mr. Holland's Opium". The Iceberg Noel Band was formed and played various venues supporting the album and covering a wide variety of classic rock, modern rock and alternative music.
All of the songs from the album are available for download at iTunes: Iceberg Noel on iTunes! and at PayPlay.fm (see below!) .

Several of the songs are receiving radio play on SongPlanet - where indie artists get heard!
In addition to her own projects, Shannon Noel sang background vocals on Tony "Hobo" Parks' CD entitled "Just Over the Rainbow" (a mix of country, blues & swing) on Plantation Records. The radio singles, "I've Got the Feeling Too" and "Barroom Blues" have been receiving airplay at many stations around the USA.
Hobo, Shannon Noel and producer Shane Iceberg are busy working on Hobo's next CD now!
In addition to doing back-up vocals for other artists, Shannon Noel has begun work on the next Iceberg Noel project to be released on Tiger Moon Records.
