Karac consists of four experienced musicians and songwriters of very different influences who come together to write their own brand of rock music. We feature an eclectic mix of instruments and styles and our music draws heavily on the light-and-shade principles of song writing adopted by many of the classic bands that influenced us in our formative years. The most important thing for us is that our music sounds original and interesting. We write and play what we ourselves would like to hear and try not to fall into the current trend of borrowing and cloning of other people̢۪s material that so much modern music relies on. It̢۪s a journey of discovery. We hope you come along for the ride.
A modest approach!! Were very much a rock based band, punchy & quite raw we think! Melodic, modern aggressive in yer face at times type choones, we suppose!

Weve been described as a Classic 'Rock Band'!!?!?!! and an awesome live band.........apparently!! We are definitly a gig happy quartet generously blessed with the amazing guitar work of Glynnis Porrino internationally acclaimed guitarist (ahem ahem!!), beautifully dynamic vocals (of course!), tastefully laced together by Pablo`s acoustic dabbling and held together by an athletic rearguard provided by the Monkey child and Ostrich!! Weve been busy laying the foundations for our first album, having recently released two promotional tunes for the radio Paid a Mynd (getting good airplay in Wales) and Beautiful Day. We've probably got enough choones for a double album! We cant seem to stop the flow of writing, its been prolificly mega man! Three of us pretty much responsible for writing, so there`s no shortage of ideas! And Monkey boy.well, ..he`s just a drummer!!!! Ouch!!

Its definatly challenging trying to grab peoples attention when youre playing original choones to unbiased ears, cos a lot of folk pretty much expect you to play covers of established bands and then they judge you. But we pride ourselves on performing our work, our expressions, and it seems that the odd person is responding quite positively to us which is fantastic!
If you've not yet seen us, (and lets face it you probably havent!!) and you have a particular penchant for good live rock songs, and original ones at that.... (breath) ......... then get yourself over to a gig!
