Hello, it's great to have some space.
Being a musician myself, I'd like to say hello to all the wonderful, creative & interesting people that enjoy playing music, especially if it's your own stuff. I love new & original music/people, not cloned or corporate, contrived, bollox!
I run a grass roots Studio in North Wales, not far from Chester. We have all sorts of artists, bands & musical styles, even people just getting out of the house to make some loud noise. We also have visits from bands & artists that are lucky enough to have a musical career. My main aim has always been & still is, that the Studio, although a business, remains a helping hand in making peoples hopes & dreams come true or at least somewhere that they can let off steam & have a blast with the reasurance that the owner is just as barking as they are!
We do a lot of things, at the Studios, not just rehearsals, Demo Recording, CD Duplication, Guitar Sales, we even sell Our Own Brand Guitar Strings. We also have a monthly Radio Show with a large & growing audience. Nobody's been able to help me for years but we maybe able to help you! Have a look at the main site. If a company says they are a Promoter check how much they actually put into promoting your gig. Boycott the ones that make no or little effort in promoting nights, charge at the door but despite large audience attendances pay the Bands nothing, run battle of the band contests with fuck all in the way prizes. They are lining their own pockets with money & using you to do so! Don't be intimidated by a large amount of ridiculous rules, regulations & worthless contracts, check with the Union or Us for advice.
