MyGen Profile GeneratorDuptribe is not just a project, it has to be connected with the label Hilltribe. In the year 2003 Felix Retter und Sasa Mlinarevic tried to find new ways to make their own music accessible to other people. On account of their long experience and their new motivation a new idea was soon born ,the foundation of the label Hilltribe. In cooperation with Flo Pflüger and Rino Spadavecchia the project Duptribe came into being. On the first Duptribe EP the track SOS Sound of Silence can be found which climbed the DCC immediately to reach at last the peak. Nobody would have expected a number 1 hit for a Newcomer label. Many DJs, radio stations and the press appreciated this success accordingly. After the release of the first Duptribe record Flo and Rino had to leave Duptribe having to concentrate intensively on their own project Dublex-INC. Felix and Sasa then carried on with the project Dubtribe creating the second Duptribe EP To The Power Of Two. And again Duptribe managed to reach the peak-position ..1 of the DCC. After numerous inquiries whether Duptribe is also available on CD, Felix and Sasa always had to negate this. In the summer of 2004 they finally started to work on a concept for a LP-CD supported by several artists such as Borna Cesljarevic, Anthony Locks, Crissi and Scott Wirsing. One was working on songs which provided the album with its individual style and which are in tune with the typical Duptribe sound. With Duptribe The 2nd Creation the expression Traveller Beat was born. It has become a synonym for the various ways of production, typical for the two young men whose music is influenced by their experiences and by the inspirations they get when traveling around the world. Since they will continue traveling you can look forward to more fantastic albums in the future! Traveller-Beats never die!
