Say hey there!Im Nancy and im a Zoology graduate about to go for my vet school entrance interview to begin as a veterinary science student in October this year .I am currently working my butt off trying to save up some money for my second upcoming undergraduate degree. I love to travel and get knee deep in conservation and I spent the whole of last summer in Zambia working for a conservation charity to add to my CV and perform the experimental methods for my dissertation project.I have also been involved in Wildlife disease research in the UK and worked for 5 months of 2007 in a pathology laboratory performing post mortem work on british carnivore carcasses.The project I was working on was associated with both Swansea and Cardiff University.I am very passionate about veterinary parasitology, conservation and animal welfare and I am determined to be part of the cure not part of the problem. I cant stand human ignorance and greed when it comes to animal issues... so pay that extra 40 pence for free range eggs and bacon and let chickens be chickens and pigs be pigs and not machines for your convenience!!!Thats my personal rant over!!Fair play to Jamie Oliver and friends, I think they are really getting the message across.Personality wise,Im really a tomboy and spend my spare time longboarding,kickboxing,practicing with my nunchucks,swimming,surfing or working with and breaking young horses.
