I'd like to meet:

Anyone intelligent, not easily-offended, blunt, attractive, weird, and open-minded.
I'm not easily impressed and I probably won't like you. I don't give a shit how much you make or what kind of piece of shit car you drive. If you're stupid or an everyday joe-schmoe-cookie-cutter person with no personality, I definitely won't like you.
And I don't want to add your shitty band.

Music:

Gypsy jazz, rockabilly, old rock 'n roll, american roots, bluegrass, old punk rock, new wave, 80s pop, classic country, ragtime, western swing, old jazz and blues, and classical.

Movies:

Anything that provides to be a mind fuck, inspirational or something that I can't guess the ending to. Movies that are visually stunning. I also love old japanese movies and obscure films. Akira Kurosawa. Tim Burton. Michael Gondry.

Television:

I don't watch television unless I'm at someone else's house and it happens to be on.

Books:

Anything on theoretical physics, science, ghosts, psychology, and weird theories. I generally prefer non-fiction. Voltaire, Carl Jung, Camus, Richard Bach, Kerouac, Stephen Hawking.

Heroes:

Stick your finger down your throat.

I'm glad someone trusts the media, because I sure as hell don't. I refuse to be fed propaganda by a biased media. For the mindless ones who do, refer to the heading of this blog. I'm reminded daily...

That is SO 1917!

Yesterday a couple at the bar asked me "how far of a walk is it to the Museum of the Confederacy from here?"  I told them it was about 7 blocks to which they winced up their faces muttering "that...

Perception

The following email I received today is one of the most entertaining things I've read in ages.  I literally "laughed out loud."  One of my myspace friends didn't know that I was reclusive by...

Okay, John Locke, you win.

For some time now, I have put you off.  "Maybe next week," I say.  I can no longer procrastinate you.  I've seen your name come up twice in the last twenty four hours from two entirely ...

Pecking order

You should never base your judgement of a person's character on how one treats their peers or equals.  It should be based on how they treat people that are lower on the social hierarchy scale.&nb...

Irritating

You know what I find to be most irritating?  People mindlessly copying and pasting political propaganda, regardless of which side they are on.  For the love of god, can you not think for you...

St. Patrick's Day

Seems like everyone is "part Irish" around this time of year.  You know what?  I don't give a shit, I still hate St. Patrick's Day as it is yet another excuse for people to act stupid. ...

We are a society of convenience.

The other day, I witnessed one of the most disgusting scenes I've ever laid eyes upon. I catch the bus everyday to and from work. And for most of the ride, I just blankly stare out the window whilst l...
