Nu Jack Entertainment are an urban promotion company based in London/Essex. Our aim is to recreate the
nights you reminisce about.
After becoming disillusioned with the club scene, London in particular, we came together in 2006 to put on an event that raised comparisons with clubbing back in the day. After many a journey home discussing "remember Hanover on a Wednesday", "Yo-Yos on a Saturday or Bar Rumba on a Sunday†it was thought that the good times had past......however with the way clubbing has evolved in London (need to be on the guestlist so theres no more sponteniatey, paying extortionate door prices, lacklustre DJ's, lack of vibes) it was time for something to be done. So instead of just sitting there talking about it, we got our heads together, stepped to the plate and formed Nujack Entertainment in an aim to bring the good times back.
"Dem Dayz" was launched in July 06 with the emphasis on taking it back to "Dem Dayz" when clubbing was a certain way. The music policy reflected the trip down memory lane with DJ's JP & Lil'Chris spinning New Jack Swing, 80's Soul, 90's R&B, classic Hip Hop & Ragga. Everyone that attended was full of praise and was eager to find out when the next one was. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the follow up event has taken some time to organise, however we are pleased to announce that Dem Dayz will be returning in Spring 2007 at an exclusive West End venue.
This myspace has been set up to bring like minded people together (those who remember the Running Man and the Bogle.....and can possibly still do it, those of you who remember slow jams at the end of the night, those who remember dancing until their feet hurt, those who remember going to the clubs to check girls/guys, dance the night away and share good vibes).
