Since the age of 7, all I ever wanted to do was be a musician and live in New York City. I would sit in my room day after day just writing in my journal about moving there and making art and music.
I went to a pretty cool high school called New World School of the Arts in Miami, Florida. It was kind of like being in the movie Fame. (Full of theater geeks and opera singers) I was one of them! At that time I was heavy into the acting stuff. I worked as a PA and got bit parts in movies here and there. Secretly thoe, I really just wanted to sing and be a big, fat rock star like Meatloaf from Bat out of Hell 2. (one of my favorite albums).So on June 1st, 1997, I packed my bags, sold my car, kissed my mom goodbye and moved to New York City. This is the city of dreams and I gotta make mine come true! I am one of the biggest dreamers I know. But of course I dont know that many. I guess thats why Im here.So this is my life as I know it so far: I am still writing songs and recording them just like I imagined I would sitting in my room day after day.. Always remembering to keep the dream alive.
