Born, raised, and lived most of my life in {Scarborough, Toronto} however, also much traveled throughout the eastern/southern US, and the West Indies. Ive been creating music since '86, visited different lifestyles, and seen hip-hop go through alot of change. Im here to add what the games been missing; real music that we can all relate to. I'm not a gimmic, I've been through alot in my 26 years, this is 'My Life's Script'.
In '98 enter The Bambinos; given the name by a fallen soldier (RIP Fred), consisting of 7 members - Alpha-1 (NoFix), Crylin (Chrome), Grenade, Organic, Philthy tha Fireman, Scoob Dogg (Cashus), and Sensi (1/3 of Black Kingz). Our first real recordings (CRAZY MENTAL, Mcowan & Steeles) were the hypnotic tracks 'Hit and Run','This is how we Rep', and 'Toronto Nigg*s' (produced by Crylin, Crylin, Alpha-1 respectively) displaying the undeniable talent of these Scarborough Mcees. Within weeks we were performing shows at The Docks, Opera House, Reverb, The Silver Dollar, Western University Etc... growing confidence, and learning how to feed off the crowds energy. We had so much promise and a genuine Luv for the art, yet it seems we lacked the dedication. The group eventually fell out unoffically in 2003, and my focus wasent revived until 2005 by S.O.S members No-Fix (previously Alpha-1) and Orpheus. Im back in the studio currently working on my debut album 'My Life's Script'. Im not hear to lead U on, this WILL be a classic Toronto album.
I'm from a dying age of Hip-hop, where artist make music to fit 'their' experiences, perception, and style instead of trying to conform to the industry. What happened to albums like Reasonable Doubt, Streets Is a Mutha, War Report, N.O.R.E., S.D.E., and Capital Punishment (RIP PUN) to name a few. This sound is NOT what ur presently used to, I blend the old with the new; get ready for the change.
