In my freetime I`m singing in a group that`s called "Acoustic Sweets". Our members are young ladies between 16 and 21 years. The group is a part of the "FeMale Funk Project" who`s a booking agency, singing school and school for music teachers. Music is a huuge part of my life. Since I was 4, I`ve sang all the time. (Please excuse me if I write some things wrong, but the english language is just a school subject of me. I have the best mark you can reach, but...) with the age of 5 I wanted to take piano lessons, but my parents, especially my mother, had the meaning that my wish was too expensive and I either won`t have the staying power to learn it. With ten years, I was a real big fan of Britney Spears. I`ve heard her songs and said to me that I will reach the same one day. I can not image myself to have a different profession than to be a musician. I dont like to work in an office. I was ten too, when I wanted to take singing lessions... I had my first one nearly 6 years later, with 15!!! And the person who pays costs for me is my lovely godfather and not my parents!!! As I started my apprenticeship, I wanted to pay it myself. But my parents proscribed it to me! Then the shit with my parents begann, which threw me back in time. I felt like back in the classroom, in the fifth grade, (that was with the age of 10) were all people were bullying me. In the rough time my parents separated I had really bad notes at school and I felt really, really, worse: The thing that has put me up were the singing lessons. It was like a therapy and everytime I walked out of the classroom, I felt happier then ever before!! Now music is like a drug to me. I can live without it anymore!
It really became a part of my life!If you are interested how my voice sounds, when Im not nervous (because when i recorde "If I aint got you" I WAS VERY NERVOUS!!), then listen to this:
