First to Rise was formed in mid 2005 in Spokane Washington. The guitarist and drummer, Drew and Chris had previously played in a publically unknown band called Through Broken Pieces. After the breakup both musicians were hungry for another project. There was too much rock to not be playing.
Bass player, Mr. Vegas, soon joined the force and later introduced the band to its singer, Jake. Since the completion of the band, they have been focusing on honing there sound and tightening songs in preparation of recording.
