I love music, LOVE live music, animals (mostly dogs), was an actor, still sorta' pursuing it. LOVE to sing! Currently a voice actor. I was in radio in all areas and miss it, from the southeast, here for lotsa' years. Everyone wins! _________________________www.boxer-rescue-la.com/shop.html__ ____GO HERE TO READ ABOUT AB1634, (the way to help drastically reduce pet overpopulation)_________ http://www.cahealthypets.com.Here's what any volunteer (like me) or anyone who's ever worked or been in an animal shelter knows about overpopulation and why it needs to be SLOWED at the very least;____As a volunteer, I see everything - dogs that are bred for the purpose of dogfighting, mama dogs that are utilized like machines for the purpose of breeding for money for ignorant humans, dogs that were tied up in their backyards from puppyhood into their adulthood so that their collar has grown into their necks, 'cause the owners didn't give a crap to check on them once a month or so, stray dogs that can't be tamed, or, if they are, they require lots of time, like years to rehabilitate them, dogs that have been literally neglected and ignored by their owners, and on and on and on.Please do something - when this bill comes around for our participation in the decision about it (springtime hopefully), please help this get passed! You'll hear more from me as it gets closer to the time to do something. In the meantime, though, chew on this;---Half a million animals are euthanized each year due to pet overpopulation in the U.S., where, if there were a law in place that forced each pet owner to get their animals fixed, this would be drastically reduced! ---There are simply too many animals available for adoption and not enough homes. ---AB 1634 will control the unwanted pet population and reduce the need to destroy so many animals. ---AB 1634 will save taxpayers millions of dollars. ---The cost to California taxpayers to house these animals and to euthanize them is over $250 million per year. ---Local animal control officials support AB 1634 because it will control pet overpopulation and save scarce taxpayer dollars. ---Studies show that over a 10-year period, every dollar spent on spaying and neutering animals saves taxpayers $18.72 in future animal control costs.***** Today's update: The bill is currently in the Senate Local Government Committee, where it will be heard in early Spring.
