*****DANCING - to sick beats and pulsating rhythms -mostly
in the shadows - and in the eyes of no one....although,
sometimes in the car - which, I have been caught doing - by a neighbor/family member - and once,by the police. Now that, is just embarassing; but true.

*****People who can be strong, yet kind and give of themselves to others without giving themselves away. People who are compassionate and loving to all people and animals. People who live life with PASSION and excitement. Insightful people who are not afraid to stand up for their beliefs, tell the truth, even when it's ugly. Though, I can also dig it when people lie, sort of for sport, to people who REALLY deserve it because either they can't handle truth or are so self-serving they don't care about anyone's truth except their own. *****I, am no hero, today or otherwise. But, there is some beauty in the imperfect, scarred being. Most, do not care to seek beyond the physical. But to be beautiful on the inside is where real beauty lies and where our light burns most brightly. My fear is that most of us have it beaten out of us; physically, emotionally, verbally; early on and then strive for perfection in an attempt to gain love and acceptance, which may never come. *****I am so flawed and far from perfect. At times, I feel, in fact, fatally flawed.I've failed and been dishonorable and have spent plenty of hours wishing I were better and stronger - valued and loved, without conditions. *****But there is a light within me that grows stronger everyday and I will ascend upon gardenia-colored wings upon my strong, yet beaten back, with victorious love and gracious light; hopeful to become a beautiful soul....someday*
