"WAR SAW, SIMPLY PUT, IS PURE ASS-KICKING METAL! MUCH RESPECT!" -Alex Castel
Ever since 2006 the band has been working hard to create the best music possible to their abilities, and providing their fans with incredible live performances. Late 2006 War Saw aquired vocalist Kyle Neville to their lineup, and with his Scandinavian based vocal sound, he has been a great addition to the band. Early 2007, War Saw finally finished recording their 6 track demo which has been anticipated by many for a long time, and this summer will be a great experience for the band and fans as they will have the oppurtunity to play alot of shows with very experienced musicians. Late September War Saw will be making a milestone in their careers playing with Finntroll at the Pearl Room (Beyond the Gates Records and Promotions). Look out for various merchandise this summer and if you havn't already, come to a War Saw show! It's an unforgetable experience.
The story of War Saw started in the year of 2004. Remek started his first band called Wretched Mind, with the line-up of him and his friends; Brian Rielly, Austin Hoekstra, Remek Jakimow, and Bart Sakowski. Not much work got done, so Remek left the band, followed by Bart shortly. As Remek made it into his first year of high school, he was trying to form another band with Bart (bassist from Wretched Mind), and he he came across Khyaam Haque. Khyaam and Remek had many similarities as guitar players, and after a jam session Remek told Khyaam that he should be in his band. The trio needed a solid drummer, so Remek aquired Brian, also from Wretched Mind, and after a few jam sessions all the members clicked and the journey of War Saw began.
