About Us
Welcome to the Bournemouth Live Music Society Myspace page. The society has changed hands this year, as Sally and her helpers have graduated and flown off to live the 9-5 lifestyle! The lovely people running the society this year are, Emily Darling, Wayne Neumann and Greg Rowe. Our pictures are below with links to our personal myspace pages, if you want to speak to us about the society just send us a message on here or grab us as your walking past us at uni!!
This community was started two years ago for students who share a love for live music of all types and varieties. Throughout the academic year we will arrange trips to gigs and live concerts in and outside of Bournemouth. Also this year we are looking to organise a few gigs locally, as well as promoting gigs and organising social events within the University and Town. In the long term we really hope to improve Bournemouth's live music scene and create positive links between the University and the live music industry.
Current Events
We are currently working towards attracting new members to our society at the University freshers fayre which is this Saturday (06.10.07).
Events coming up are an acoustic gig which we are arranging at TOFS on 24.10.07, bands TBA in the next few days.
Also we are arranging the Bournemouth area gig for The Extinguishers/Officer Down UK tour in January 2008.
