About Me

Nurtured in the loving atmosphere of a small country church and Christian home, the Dooley children found a unique sibling bond in their desire to worship God through music. While their harmonies seem truly Heaven inspired, the spirit of deep worship and adoration is reflected in every song they sing. The love of God and music was instilled into the Dooleys from an early age. Both of their parents were musically inclined. Their father, Garry, was a noted singer. He had traveled with his parents and siblings as lead singer for their southern gospel group until he married. Their mother, Nina Turner Dooley, was a pianist and often sang harmony with her mother and husband. Throughout their childrens formative years, Garry and Nina served as song leader and pianist is a small country church. It was there that each of the children found their own vocal niche. Their parents were shocked to realize that each child had naturally found a unique part to sing. From the first song that the Dooleys sang together in that church, they have been amazing audiences everywhere with their unbelievable blend and tight harmonies that only a family group can exhibit. Immediately after that first performance the children began receiving invitations to perform at area churches, fairs and picnics. Garry joined the group to round out the bass end. While the children finished up their high school and college educations, the group traveled throughout Arkansas and Missouri. Then in 2001, the family was struck a devastating blow when Garry was diagnosed with esophageal cancer in March. Even through he fought hard and thousands of people prayed for his recovery, Garry stepped into the arms of Jesus Christ on July 4, 2001. This loss left the Dooleys in a state of confusion and depression. After a few years of growing closer to each other and the Lord, the Dooleys were ready to fulfill their fathers dying wish that they never stop praising the Lord. Their rekindled faith and strengthen devotion to God has become apparent in every concert. As their ministry expanded, they have been blessed with the opportunity to travel to numerous areas throughout the US. It is their prayer that with the release of their new album God would lead them further into full time ministry. They state, We dont know what God has for us. However, we all agree that we will be willing servants and go wherever He leads. It is the Dooleys deepest desire to be instruments of praise to the Lord. They hope to always be a reflection of His light.
