Hardy Hemphill is a singer-songwriter, composer and multi-instrumentalist and has been writing, recording and touring as a musician since he was 16 years old. Here are a few of the people Hardy has played for or recorded with: Paula Cole, Rascal Flatts, Kenny Loggins, Chely Wright, Shania Twain, Elton John, BackStreet Boys, Bob Carlisle, Billy Sprague, Bruce Carroll, Sandi Patty, Jaci Velasquez, Ashley Cleveland, Steven Curtis Chapman & Allison Kraus and Union Station. Hardy has played with symphonies, orchestras & jazz ensembles. He has written several musicals and worked as a musical coordinator for an independent off-Broadway comedy-drama tour. In 1996 the world famous Bluebird Café in Nashville awarded Hardy with the Best Of The Nest Award, recognizing him for being among the best of the Sunday Night writers. Hardy also has numerous TV and recording credits as an auxiliary percussionist, harmonica player and vocalist. He recently married a beautiful San Jose woman and now call Northern California home.
