We run hard-hitting grassroots campaigns against forest destroyers of every shape and size - from the largest paper companies who clearcut our endangered Southern forest to paper customers of all size like OfficeMax.We had so much fun a last year's Dogwood Alliance Earth Day Festival in Downtown Decatur -- we're going to do it again! Saturday, April 12, 2008. Check out our blog at www.dogwoodalliance.org to see who is playing this year.

My Interests

Fighting the good fight! Hugging trees! Kicking booty! Holding truth to power! Amassing large hordes of activists to "Just Say NO to forest destruction!"

I'd like to meet:

Other superheroes who care about protecting endangered forests and want to join the eternal battle to stop mega-corporations from destroying all of the land and harming all of the innocent people who live there!

Music:

Anything you can dance to... especially if it inspires superhero like behaviors or makes you want to frolic in the forest.

Movies:

Of course we like superhero flicks... but we also love documentaries that expose corporate abuse of power!

Television:

If looks could kill, I'd kill your television!

Books:

We love all books printed on ancient and endangered forest friendly paper with maximum post-consumer recycled content... like the last few editions of Harry Potter...

Heroes:

You! Especially if you are fighting to make this world a better place!
