About Me

Since I've now completed my move from Syracuse, NY to Chesapeake, VA, I am ready to start a new phase in my life. Sadly, I had to leave my most recent job (working with a refugee resettlement program setting up apartments for new arrivals into the U.S.) but I walked away with some amazing friends and memories. I'm in my first semester of graduate school at Old Dominion University in Norfolk. I'm heading toward M.A. in Applied Linguistics with a concentration in TESOL. I am hoping to start several dance classes down here soon, including African Dance, Bellydance and Salsa. I am also looking forward to getting to know the ecosystem around here--it's so exciting having the chance to learn about all of the flora and fauna down here. I'm even thinking about buying a kayak! That's about it for the moment.... If you wanna know anything else, just ask!ONE LOVE...

What Hindu God or Goddess are you like?
You are closest to the Lord Ganesha. Althogh he has an interseting feature of looking like and elephant, his power makes him strong and faithful. Lord Ganesh is the God to remove all obstacles in life. And because of his unique figure, one of his forces is that he looks beyond one's outer apearance. You are most like this Great God because you are strong and not all that judgemental but, you are human and it can be something in you like all the rest of us. Well Lord Ganesh like many other gods and goddess are just all incarnations of the one almighty god.

You are an American Tribal Style Belly Dancer! So it's not one hundred percent authentic, but who cares? It looks really cool, you have a great time doing it and the costumes are fantastic. You're not into all the glitz of cabaret but you can never have too many Kuchi medallions on your turban. Undulate on, tribal chick!
