okay my thesis is done - phew....TOPIC: gender roles and attitudes in the ANARCHIST PUNK SCENE - I think i am done with writing 4 a while. however, as there are many issues within the scene,i can't address all the problems therefore, i picked this topic. As the scene is very important to me and i am sure to many of you.. any wonder why there are are 2/3 to 3/4 male to female ratio and we need to fix this! we need more females active in bands, zines, distros...and various other institutions and avenues of punk!!!

I also organized along with other women on the Clitfest here in RVA in 2007 which proved to be a very positive and interesting experience.

i am workign on a zine. i think. on gender and music esp punk.

My Interests

talking, coffee, people, sociology, anthropology, music, my ESP, movies, crass, conflict, oi polloi, hellbastard, dirt, destroy, culture shock, axegrinder, Doom, Gloom, Disrespect, Rattus, so many more bands. metal side: Carcass, ND, Testament, Death, Megadeth, Bolthrower, Gorguts, Impaled, nile. As for local bands i love Dysphagia (formerly known as WarTorn) and Battlemaster, Cyaegha

oh ya and i love Frank Sinatra epsecially the Jobim recordings.

I'd like to meet:

i want to meet every person on this earth except ppl who are racist, sexist or homophobic so does that reduce it to just a handful of persons? EVERYONE EXCEPT FOR BABY A.
