Pat Reid here (reider).
He writes songs. Lots of songs. He's pretty particular about what he writes and how they should sound. He loves the process of writingand fine tuning a song till its as best as it can be.
he has played in many musical groups in Canada and more recently in Taiwan. being quite a slutty with bands but loyal to black lung inner city choir, The Soilers and once upon a time Schlumpy (an amazing funk band sensation cut short in their prime due to the usual abuse of substances). This year (2006-07) reider has been playing with other acts such as 3 legged cat, Dirty sky, catnip, and solo stuff.
After returning from a very successful Canadian tour this summer playing in the Black Lung Inner City Choir (which brought them tv and radio coverage in Toronto) he is now back in the ROC (Taiwan for those who didn't know) to play, write and record as much music as possible. This Last year (2006-07) Black lung was on national television performing 2 songs off of their 1st CD entitled "If I leave for home", played on sunny radio in Taichung and played festivals, events, and of course a lot of bars and coffee shops.
Be on the lookout for him upon his return next year to the east with his critically acclaimed band mates Nick Fothergill and Brad Whitmore who make up the super (amazing live) group
Black Lung Inner City Choir.
