About Me

ROCKETGRRL is a free form Psychadelic jam rock explosion, alot of our songs are never played twice and alot of the actual lyrics will change to suit what the band is playing, we feed off of eachother to create original songs everytime we play. The trademark being the really loud freakouts that accompany all of our songs.The 3 or so songs listed in the playlist were the result of 1 session at a studio over a 3 hour period. The songs were described more than technically thought out and instead of being thought of as mere music we paint with our minds where we are going as we travel through the 11th dimension.1988: A song about Escape from New York and the day the president crashed his plane into the world trade center. A call for Snake Plisskin to save our beloved president.Riders: Cormac Mcarthys blood meridian is the basis for this song, some indians kills some cowboys on the fringes of town, a black tree rises from the desert and a man is hanged. The desert swallows all of the blood.All my friends are dead: This song is about my Cousin and his many drug addictions, his battle with his life and past and my wish for him to be cleaned of his current state. This song is also about being away from home for a long time.
