With the powerful and anointing influence of his parents, Pastor Robert D. & Missionary Effie M. Taylor, Sr. of Glad Tidings Church of GOD in Christ, Eric was inspired to sing at the tender age of three with his brothers at his fathers Thursday Night Revivals. Erics inspiration for singing to the glory of God grew stronger and deeper as his relationship with the Lord became a more intimate & personal union. Eric is committed to his duty as a servant of God and a friend to man. Eric has a handsome future Heisman Trophy winner, Brandon Nicholas. Eric Deon's responsibilities range from youth teacher & counselor, director of the Leaders of Today Youth Choir, dynamic praise & worship leader, minister of music and chairman of the ministerial staff.Eric is a former member of the recording group, Derrick Starks and Todays Generation. While with this group, he sang lead vocalist on the title cut, Yes, I Love Jesus and traveled nationally with the group to the Dr. Bobby Jones show. Eric now sing with the wonderful ministry of Bro. Mark Holley and 1-A-Chord.Eric shows that he is no ordinary vocalist as he delivers each song with his own style, though he sometimes reminds the listener of John P. Kee and Marvin Sapp.Eric has affectionately been known and called "The Superman of Gospel". He has ministered on stage with the likes of Vanessa Bell-Armstrong, Kim Burrell, Bryon Cage, Twinkie Clark, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Jacky Clark-Chisholm, Karen Clark-Sheard, Darryl Coley, Israel Houghton, Pastor John P.
