About Me

I am a divorced mother of two wonderful boys, 9 and 6 years old. .. make
your
profile
cool

MySpace Editor I enjoy meeting new people. My oldest son is an autistic, a full time job in itself, though most people say "I would never have known by looking at him" My youngest son is a wonder himself, Intelligent and accepting that his brother is different. We have a strong bond, the three of us.

My Interests

Going to the Ocean is one of my favorite things to do even if it's just to watch a sunset and go home. I enjoy being in the water, lake , river whatever. Waking up in the early morning, sitting on my porch with my coffee,My cat "Smokey Bear" purring in my lap while the kids are still asleep. "Mommy Time" at night after they get their stories and a lullaby. Other than that I live a simple life.

I'd like to meet:

First I am looking for other parents, of Special needs children, to network with, share amazing stories of our special kids. Being a parent of a special needs child certainly changes your prespective about children, and your ideas about parenting. Everthing your mama told you is turned upside down, but to wake up each morning, excited about what they will learn or accomplish today. is an amazing journey that I whole heartedly embrace. I know if it weren't for the fact that my child is special I wouldn't and couldn't be the mother I am today.

Music:

COUNTRY ! Classic Rock.

Movies:

A Bronx Tale, most chick flicks like Sweet Home Alabama, or Ever After, Comedies, even the stupid ones because, even if they have no substance, there is entertainment value, and it's always important to laugh

Television:

Programs that keep you intrigued. HOUSE, the history channel, discovery channel, etc. oh.... and of course Survivor and American Idol !!!!

Heroes:

my two boys and my mama bear
