Sounds Like:
Mutiny on the Bounty :
MUTINY ON THE BOUNTY are last year's whizz kids of Luxembourg's straightforward music scene. By combining striking postcore with angular math elements, they showed that even clean guitar sounds can truely kick ass. Playful but yet devastating, this well-known pirates (feat. members of ex-Ganesha, Do Androids dream of electric Sheep, Eternal Tango) DO board any ship in sight.
Jordan : Sincerity and intensity are two words that the Paris based band JORDAN tries to combine! Quoting their biography reveals their true nature, performing catchy wavepunk like their brothers-in-law Bloc Party and The Robocop Kraus. Simple but moving, this threepiece know how to shake booties.
Tomà n : TOMÀN can be considered as belgium's most promising postrock band. After Pillow visited us last year, another most precious will stroke us with their lovely melodylines. Reminding of Explosions in the Sky and The Album Leaf, TOMÀN surely will show us their dreamscapes with the release of their second longplayer.
Confuse the Cat : This belgian indie hope has not that much to do with Monthy Python, but they are not less fun to listen to. In your favourite record store you'll find CONFUSE THE CAT right besides New order or The Talking Heads. After their show on the famous Pukkelpop festival this band will be big. We guarantee...
One Drop does it : Emo has gained a rather negative smack over the year's but ONE DROP DOES IT from Bonn, Germany prove that emotional hardcore music can still be refreshing. If you like Taking Back Sunday or Billy Talent, ONE DROP DOES IT is a sure thing.
Blue Room : BLUE ROOM stands for authenticity and intimacy as they showed us on their debut record Private Stuff. Cosy alternative tunes with a glimpse of melancholy. For fans of the Foo Fighters and Silverchair.
Fast Friday : With The sweeter the Sin, the bitter the Taste our local emo heroes FAST FRIDAY showed us how state of the art melodic hardcore has to sound like. You like Atreyu or Underoath? Then you need to check this out.
