Heaven for me can never heaven be, if my cats are not there to welcome me.

About Me

My kitty made it to the strip! And the new MUTTS book, "Shelter Stories- LOve Guaranteed" you can get it on Amazon.com... I am so darn proud!
A PRAYER FOR ALL ANIMALS ( by Albert Schweitzer)Hear our humble prayer, O God, for our friends the animals, especially for animals who are suffering; for any that are hunted or lost or deserted or frightened or hungry; for all that will be put to death. We entreat for them all Thy mercy and pity, and for those who deal with them we ask a heart of compassion and gentle hands and kindly words.Make us, ourselves, to be true friends to animals and so to share the blessings of the merciful.
KITTY RESQ- All animal rights are most important to me. Please visit http://www.pelosanimais.org.pt/recursos/free_me - 6.5kb for a flash video by Goldfinger for Peta. Nothing is more sickening to me than animals suffering at the hands of humans.H.I.M. are the musical priority these days; also a big fan of the Bamster. That being said, I am into horror movies, noir and old silent film... the drive-in,(remember playing on the swingsets up in front of the huge screen at twilight while the cartoons rolled?) anything pre WWII, anything to do with the day to day life in the Victorian era...all history I suppose, I do have an affinity for each era I think. But I truly long for the days of matching gloves and handbag. The days when people didn't mind getting dressed up for the appropriate occasion, and sweat clothes and ball caps were far off terrible inventions lurking in the long dark tea-time of the soul called the 90's.I love cats, all animals really, but especially those felines. Think about it... nightvision, impeccable balance, retractable claws, 3 eyelids... magical, ethereal beings.=^.^= I am honored to call so many cats my friends, and to help them along life's path as often as possible, since they are, to coin a phrase, "Like a snowflake in my hand"... they are each unique and perfectly beautiful amd the time we get to know them is so fleeting......
Ville Valo... got some questions for him (HIM!) (and he is a fellow Elvist)...... I look to be the friend you can count on, and hope to make the same kind of friends...loyalty and reliability are two qualities I cherish. I hope to run into some old friends and maybe make some new ones...."new friends are silver, but old friends are gold".... but at what point do new ones become old ones I wonder?

My Interests

Once upon a time there was a old man who used to go to the ocean for peace and quiet, he usually walked on the beach before he began his work. One day as he was walking along the shore, he saw someone in the distance, someone bending, the throwing something in the water and again, and again... As he got closer, he saw that it was a young girl. She was reaching down to the sand, picking up something, and throwing it gently into the ocean. He called out, "Good morning! What are you doing?"The girl paused and replied, "Throwing starfish in the ocean.""what for?" said the man. "The sun is up and the tide is going out. If I don't throw them in, they'll be stranded on the beach and die.""But don't you realize that there are thousands of miles of beach and starfish all along the way. You can't possibly make a difference!"The girl she bent down, picked up another starfish and threw it into the sea. She watched a wave lift it high, and then it sank into the life-giving water."It made a difference for that one,” she said.~ PLEASE Click on Banner to visit the PRO Spay/Neuter Myspace page and Don't forget to add them - thank you~"No- Birth is the First Step to NO-Kill"What do "spay" and "neuter" really mean?Female dogs and cats are spayed by removing their reproductive organs, and male dogs and cats are neutered by removing their testicles. In both cases the operation is performed while the pet is under anesthesia. Depending on your pet's age, size, and health, he or she will stay at your veterinarian's office for a few hours or a few days. Depending upon the procedure, your pet may need stitches removed after a few days. Your veterinarian can fully explain spay and neuter procedures to you and discuss with you the best age at which to sterilize your pet.Spaying or Neutering Is Good for Your Pet* Spaying and neutering helps dogs and cats live longer, healthier lives.* Spaying and neutering can eliminate or reduce the incidence of a number of health problems that can be very difficult or expensive to treat.* Spaying eliminates the possibility of uterine or ovarian cancer and greatly reduces the incidence of breast cancer, particularly when your pet is spayed before her first estrous cycle.* Neutering eliminates testicular cancer and decreases the incidence of prostate disease.Spaying or Neutering Is Good for You* Spaying and neutering makes pets better, more affectionate companions.* Neutering cats makes them less likely to spray and mark territory.* Spaying a dog or cat eliminates her heat cycle. Estrus lasts an average of six to 12 days, often twice a year, in dogs and an average of six to seven days, three or more times a year, in cats. Females in heat can cry incessantly, show nervous behavior, and attract unwanted male animals.* Unsterilized animals often exhibit more behavior and temperament problems than do those who have been spayed or neutered.* Spaying and neutering can make pets less likely to bite.* Neutering makes pets less likely to roam the neighborhood, run away, or get into fights.10 Reason why you should Spay and Neuters your Animal Companions.1. Every day 70,000 puppies and kittens are born in this country while only 10,000 people are born.2. It's simple math - there just arent enough homes for all of these animals.3. Every year 10-12 million animals are euthanized in shelters for lack of available homes.4. On average, 64% of all animals taken into shelters nationwide have to be euthanized for this reason.5. At least 50% of the overpopulation problem is non-neutered males. Females cant do it alone.6. Purebreds account for 30% of all the animals in shelters. "Papers" dont mean an animal should be bred.7. For every home you find for an animal that you have bred, a home is lost for a shelter animal.8. Breeding to "see the miracle of birth" demands that you also "see the tragic results". Visit a shelter.9. Animal overpopulation has reached a crisis point in this country.10. You personally can make a difference by spaying or neutering your pet. It is the single most important thing you can do to prevent animal cruelty!VISIT BILL'S SITE: WWW.THEACEFREHLEYARCHIVE.COM
