While his dj "alias" , might not ring a bell, Eric aka "Probable Cause" is no stranger amongst the so cal drum & bass circuit. Having spent a majority of his 8+ years behind the scenes, "PC" ha been considered as somewhat of an ambassador to the San Diego/Southern Caifornia Drum & Bass Scene and is known for his involvement with Champion Sound, CSL as well as such nights as Turbulence, Delete and of course San Diego's longest running Drum & Bass Weekly "DEEP". Although he has cared more about the SD Scene than his own namesake, Probable Cause has been booked from LA/SD to Seattle to New Mexico and inbetween with the likes of Nicky Blackmarket, LTJ Bukem, DJ SS, John B, Total Science, Perfect Combination, Cause4Concern, Ed Rush, Optical, Loxy, Ink, High Contrast, Tech Itch, Vinyl Syndicate, Dieselboy, Dara, AK1200, Logistics & Mathematics to name a few

Besides D&B, Eric also mixes what he calls "Mutated Disco" under the aliases, "Eric Yo!", "Bling Shui", "Dirty FM", "Buck Nasty" and "Dirty Bizness." "Mutated Disco" is 80's. electroclash, Cheesy top 40 that you love to hate and even drum & bass mixed (yes actually mixed) together. He feels it's a great opportunity to play at a venue and have people that are into different genres hear a variety of music put together in one set. Not to mention an excellent opportunity to allow his 80's obsessed, A.D.D. self to let loose. In the past, "Dirty FM" was spotted rockin the decks with the likes of Funk Master Flex, Klever, Cobra Krames, DJ Smudge, Villains, Treasure Fingers and LA Riots as well as at such spots as Zenbu Lounge, Whistle Stop, Air Conditioned, Landlord Jims, On Broadway and the Century Club, Proof Bar. RLA.

When not on the decks Eric can be found in his home office satisfying his visual addiction through doing graphic design for his design firm "Propaganda Urban Mktg." Having worked on such projects on Skratch (the documentary) as well as a past client list that includes Bluem Recordings, Tango Recordings, Big Deluxe Tattoo, California Sound and Lighting, Fashion Aides, Mixed Up Mosaics, On Broadway, Onyx Room, Siesta Music ,YWCA, there's no wonder why Eric has made just as a reputable name for himself for his graphic design skill as his aliases have in the DJ community.

Direct Feed hits us with one hell of a mix. A mixture of very hard dark and nasty tunes with a hip hop pinch. Usually if you think of the marriage of drum n bass and hip hop you think to some cheesy jump up tune, but Direct Feed shows us that a touch of hip hop also works well with hard, dark and aggressive drum n bass also. This mix is one of my favorites for this exact reason. Ohhh did I mention that Direct Feed is one hell of a producer and it shows as a majority of the tunes are by his own hand. From the intro to the outro, Direct Feed delivers a killer of a mix.
Probable Cause is one of the leaders of the San Diego drum n bass movement being a solid DJ and promoter (Deep in San Diego, SD's longest running weekly event). He delivers a very fast and upbeat dancefloor set. Seriously from the jump this mix is a race in and out of groovy and dancefloor smashers. With long mixes of tunes with the speed of the tunes, Probable Cause emphasizes the "mix" portion of the coined term 'mix n blend'. With a fast pace don't sleep on this mix from Probable Cause.
