I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm from the sand hammocks and blacktops of Central Florida. Ive lived in Miami, Paris and the foothills of North Georgia. I own a old place in the historic district of an ancient French town.Different traditions, cultures, ethnics and societies have always fascinated me, even within my own region. Immersing myself in these cultures is a stimulating rush for me. However, I've always felt just an observer passing through the lives of these people, including the cultures of the Deep South and Florida where I hale from. Having grown up in a relatively culturaly bland homogenous environment, it doesn't take much to catch my eye and to have the sensitivity to pick up on nuances. This has led me to do some traveling, as well as to record the local cultural peculiarities and eccentrics of my own area.In my travels, I have been drawn to what I've studied in history, humanities, arts, and design courses which I've taken over the years and have made the basis of much of my past itineraries. However, my interest in the Latin American cultures has grown mainly from of the influence of my wife. I would like to post some of my observations here as well as invited those who have also traveled (some of whom, much more than I have) to also post their experiences as well. I personally like the offbeat, eccentric, bizarre and that lies just under the surface or undiscovered. Things you don't usually see in travelogues in the newspaper or TV.formimg#googleTLogo { background-image:url(http://x.myspace.com/images/powered_by_ google_white.png); background-repeat: no-repeat;
