THE NAME: The name Modular Expansion comes from the first analog-modular synthesizers in the 70s in which different parts were connected between one another, thus creating an expansion.
MODULAR EVENTS: Already having in their portfolio many events in big, well known clubs like +Soda, U-matic, Danza, Fuze, Mylos, Loca, Goa, Cariocas, City Groove, Z-oo, Berlin, Q base, Plan b, Amnesia, Stavlos, Tessera, Factory, Loop, Miroir, Mad etc, and also at Tresor in Berlin .. They also took part in festivals like Globe Dance, Electro Free, Reverb, e-fos and Day without Cars. In 2006 Modular Expansion company took part at Helexpo exhibition in Thessaloniki.
MODULAR & REVERB BOOKINGS : In April 2000 Modular Expansion created a DJ booking department to promote and book the resident djs and their favourite djs from abroad like Adam Beyer, Funk D' Void, Dave Tarrida, Chris Cowie, Carl Cox, dj Rolando, Alexander Kowalski, Sender Berlin, Pacou, Substance, Vainqueur, Diego, Darren Price, Cora S, Amok & Yunus Guvenen.
MODULAR SOUNDZ: The Modular Expansion team is giving everyone a chance to get to hear all shades of Techno and electronic music generally. The Reverb Sessions (a series of events that began in 2002) events varying the kind of music every time.
CALYPSO (1995) Calypso is devoted mostly to summer events situated near the see with party atmosphere and tones influenced by house and techno turning to percussive.
ATMOSFERIK NOIZ (1995) An event combined with underground and industrial places, techno soundz and dark atmosphere presenting the underground side of the techno scene.
MODULAR EXPANSION (1998) Techno soundz in its original club form is a mix of deep percussive and minimal or bass and bleep soundz. Accent deeply influenced by techno labels and producers from metropolis of techno like Berlin, Detroit, New York, Brighton, Birmingham, Glasgow, Vienna, Tokyo etc.
Elektr-o-tech experiments (1999) Those events fluctuate in an electronic, experimental electro and techno note presenting an ablative indeed, but also with hypnotic atmosphere.
DEEP IMPACT (2001) The deepest project with soundz from deep, dub and minimal to funky melodic groovy techno beats.
EXPANDING BASS (2002) The drum 'n'bass project.
Re-FRESH (2004) The new project of reverb sessions that gives the chance to new faces and promote new talents from all kinds of electronic music.
FANTASTIC SOUNDZ (2005) They have an almost pure house style (soulful, funky, disco, vocal) and rhythm, having some light progressive affects representing the smoothest vibe of Reverb Sessions.

In August 2005 released the cd compilation "Modular Expansion volume 1" at Freeze mgzn, including tracks from Chris Cowie, Dan Corco, Southsoniks, Bryan Zentz, George Apergis, Renato Cohen, Rhythmiker vs Ratio, Dave Tarrida, Beroshima, Sender Berlin and Memory Foundation. In coopeartion with worldwide labels such as Intec, Versus, F1, Central, Sativae, unGleich and Beroshima.
In May 2006 released the cd compilation "elektr-o-tech experiments" at Freeze mgzn, compiled by George Apergis and including tracks by Mandy, Silver City, John Tejada, Modex aka George Apergis, Justin Maxwell, DJ T, Alter Ego, Tiefschwarz, Videogame Orchestra, Isol?e, Sender berlin and Substance. In cooperation with worldwide labels such as Get Physical, Klang Elektronik, Playhouse, 2020 Vision, Palette, unGliech and Chain Reaction.
In October 2007 released the 3rd cd compilation of George Apergis "elektr-o-tech experiments 2" at Freeze mgzn with tracks by Oliver Huntemann, Thomas Schumacher, Extrawelt, Piemont, Verdenn, Stephan Bodzin, Axel Bartsch, Goldfish & der Dulz, Sebastien Leger, Zoo Brazil & John Dahlback. In cooperation with Plantage 13 and labels like Confused, Spiel-Zeug, Giant Wheel, Hi Freaks, John Henry, Herzblut & Pickadoll.
