Gear mechanisms have been present in Hellas since 20.000 B.C.
The famous Antikythera Mechanism (Astrolabe) is a classic sample of metallic gear systems, small in size, but very precise and efficient in offering mathematical readings. For this reason they have been called "accurate mechanical gears" or "mathematical toothed wheel systems".It's world's first Computer !!!

The mechanism is exhibited at the Archeological Museum of Athens.
It's complete functions are not dicovered fully yet...It's a unique artifact that reveals the hyper-technology of ancient Hellas...
