About Me

RUBY TUESDAYS is an evening of live music.
Pioneered by PAUL HINNRICHS and headlined from the beginning by WILLIAM DOUGLAS and ALISTAIR McERLAIN, RUBY TUESDAYS was staged in the dearly loved IGLU bar (on Jamaica Street in the Newtown) for 14 months until we had to arrange a bigger boat and move uptown to 99 HANOVER ST bar (on 99 Hanover Street).

dear canaries, one and all,
re: THURSDAY the 9th of AUGUST 2007
RUBY takes her muscians across town for an 'OUTLAW' show, downstairs, at the CITY CAFE.
RUBY has planned for STODDY (ian stoddart) to set up his drum-kit in a more central position, with the muscians infront of him, and the audience around them in a close semi-circle (there will be floor markings to aid perception).
RUBY has invited her muscians to come along and play a few songs, each taking a turn.
RUBY has invited the band NORTON MONEY to play a few songs. they are a wonderful band that are up from london to play a few gigs.
RUBY's aim tonight is the generation of MANIA. just like a circle of GOSPEL.
this will be RUBY at her most laid back and informal.
