I'm interested in everything that I'm addicted to. I'm also interested in sex, drugs, and rock & roll. I certainly have a soft spot for all things non-violent, unless it's the sound of a car crash in the distance; ohh how I love that sound. Or an ultra-violent movie can be terribly fun from time to time. What I'm not interested in is mean and irrational people.
You?
Maybe not... hmmm.. maybe!
Have you any concept of fashion? This ain't Idaho!

Most brilliant movie ever: Harold & Maude.
Most brilliant actor ever, despite his apparent tendancy to be an ultra-asshole: Peter Sellers.
The "Best ever interview by George Stroumboulopoulos award" goes to Gene Wilder.
Worst movie ever filmed in my hometown: Freakshow (1988 I think).
Best Jack Nicholson film that nobody knows about: The Last Detail.
I like to stay away from TV when I can, but I do have the innevitable list of no-missers:
The Hour w/ George Stroumboulopoulos, Passionate Eye (CBC Newsworld)
Cheers, Seinfeld, & Night Court are my top sitcoms.
South Park (kudos to the finest writers... "You were playing god when you inserted the feeding tube!!")
Simpsons (come on, it's a cultural icon unlike any other)
The rest of the time I watch news... mostly (Daily Show!! yaa) CBC, BBC, and occasionally the local here in K-town.
If you can access them, I strongly recommend the Documantary Channel (Canada), Independant Film Channel, and the specialty Much stations - Loud & Retro.
I usually tend towards non-fiction... but I'm not limited to it. Here's the short-list:
Rushdie: Step Across This Line, Fury, East West (Satanic Verses someday)
Thompson: Fear & Loathing, Rum Diaries.
Copeland: Life After God, Shampoo Planet.
Orwell: 1984, Animal Farm
Salinger: Catcher In The Rye (first time since highschool)
Garner: Sophies World
Pirsig: Zen & The Art Of Motorcycle Maintenance
Adams: Hitchhikers (trilogy in 5 books), Salmon Of Doubt, Dirk Gently.
Haven't gotten to Chompskys' Hegemony Or Survival, but I have it.
I admit I haven't got to Michael Moores' Stupid White Men yet, so I will.
My mother is such a Stephen King fan, but it never rubbed off on me ...oh I could go on, words are just as beautiful as music & art.
I may publish a book someday, but I fear it'll drive me insane, like when I send a message and in retrospect I think to myself "why didn't I say this 'n that when instead I said yadda yadda?" We shall see.
Pierre Trudeau, George Stroumboulopoulos, Perry Farrell, The internet, Those that I love, Those that love me, Molly (r.i.p.), Ween, freedom.
I assure you this list is way longer than it appears.
