scroll down for myspace! our space! socializing! yeah!The Suicidos band history dates back to 1999, when TomASS met Nico2 at Zurich's Main Station. In 2001, Nico2 leaves his previous pop band for various reasons and meets TomASS again at the Kontiki Bar, after which they go down for a jam in Snook's current bandroom. TomASS' thrashing guitar skills clash with Nico2's indie noodling and grungy singing, which forces TomASS behind the drum kit. Another Nico, a mathematician, joins in on the guitar after meeting Nico2 at the Abart Club. The Suicidos' First Song, later to be known as "Craving", is written. Its renowned, catchy main riff allegedly comes to Nico2's mind atop a Himalaja mountain.
In 2002, a young temptress named Nina joins the band on the bass. At a Zodiac metal night the band toys with calling themselves "Sex with Nina", which Nina and various girlfriends oppose to. The band finally settles for "Hot Beef Injection". After a phase of slow progress, caused by the simultaneous apprenticeships of Nico2, TomASS and Nina, the latter ultimately quits the band in 2004, which shortly after renames itself to "Prophylactics".
TomASS talks to Misha, the ex-lover of his sister and eery black metal maniac, again in Kontiki Bar, and somewhat later this bearer of lances hops on the bus. In 2005, on the lookout for a singer, Tom Hoochy Coo joins the band on the vocals for 4 rehearsals. In 2006, the band finally decides that it needs a new singer. Nico scouts singers at Mascotte's weekly "Karaoke from Hell". He invites the regular Diego--, who soon conspires to take over the microphone and, after Misha takes his leave towards the financial world, also the bass.
Misha does stay long enough to find the band again rename itself to Electronical Suicide, and play its first show at Cave Germinal's opening party in Adliswil. In 2007, the Band releases its first demo CD "Basement Tapes 1" with Snook's cunning "dave the man" as a producer. It instantaneously finds massive underground popularity and is sold out immediately. Electronical Suicide plot to tap into and continue this success by planning a tour with Fabi Ann and Snook...
