Fabi Ann

FABi ANN is not just a rock n`roll group - it are the emotions, impressions and the sound to rock n`roll attitude! An unique mixture of alternative-and punkrock, with melancholy, poetry and tradition. Even when it was hard in a business-oriented city as zurich - Bandfounder and Songwriter Fabi Ann is rocking since 1994. In 2004 FABi ANN recorded their sixth studio-album "seventynine". In those ten years Fabi Ann passed through success, tragedy and all kind of situations, what gave him enough impressions to make music that really gets inside. At live shows he always puts all emotions and power in his performance. His voice and his guitarsound is absolutely unique. Bassplayer Ivo is already five years in the band now. He plays various of styles and teaches at zurich`s jazz school bass. Ivo and Fabi Ann met in spring 2001 at the lake of zurich. That had also been the place they spent all day laying dizzy in the sun...but two month later they recorded their first common album "the living death". On drums performed Pete Hall, which was playing with Fabi Ann from 1995 to 1998 in the band Black Heaven. 2003 was the year york joined the band. His origin is punkrock. He started playing drums after hearing bands like Nirvana, Bad Religion, AFI and so on. Another passion of him is filmmaking. By the end of the year Fabi Ann are going to release their seventh studio album: "Generation Suicide". There will be eleven tracks from fast punkrock over melancholic rockballads to some special interpretations of western/country and disco/grunge... And this band is going to rock n`roll as long as they live...and hopefully the world takes more attention on them - because FABi ANN save ROCK N ROLL!!!
