Hello friends, I..m a average guy, 33 years of age and have a retail business. I..m Chilean by birth but have made Panama my home for the past eighteen years. Panamá (central America).Many of you might be thinking, what is an Chilean doing living in Panama? The answer is simple, Panamá rules!, nice weather (year round), economic stability, low cost of life, safe place to live and raise a family and is as modern as any mayor metropolis of the world, all due to the United States bases that where stablish in Panama since 1903 until 2000.Unfortunately the image of Panama towards the rest of the world had suffered from the common stereotype of most Latin American countries, everything is jungle, life is like a Ricky Martin video and all women look like JLO, let me tell you right now this is NOT so. There..s no donkeys on the streets, the chickens do not get on your table when you eat and stuff on the same line.All in all Panama is more like Miami Beach than anything else, 80% of the population speaks FLUENTLY both English and Spanish.
