LIFE IS ALL ABOUT MUSIC , SO LET US ALL MAKE MUSIC OUR LIFEHi there.My name is Alaffya. I am from the west coast of Africa, place called Sierra Leone ( The Lion Mountain). I now live in a small town called Sommieres, in the south of France, with my family. I have lived here now for the past four years and have experienced the french way of living. Prior to living here, in France, i lived in England, over a period of twenty years, it became a second home for a long while and sometimes i miss some things about it. I have spent alot of time travelling around Africa and getting to know alot more about my home-land. I lived through a part of the crisis of war and tried to play my part as a human being in helping distribute food and other aid to my diplaced countrymen and women. I did what many in my position would have done, and did, when confronted with the same situation. Gladly we can now speak of it all in the past. Now the country is back on its feet since we were blessed again to witness what it is like to have peace and love agian. I as a musician intend on contibuting my time working with other musicians in Africa in order to promote and enhance the musical force that has always been a part of our guiding force in life. I appeal to other like minded individuals and groups, interested in coming together in this musical journey to contact me. You dont have to be a musician or artist, there is a place for all. I have started an arts and cultural music organisation in France called ARTIKA MUZIK and in the next year or so intend on expanding it further, into West Africa and hopefully further a fields. I hope my music will reflect the spiritual force of Africa and inspire all who listen. May the all mighty creator guide and protect us all, for now and for ever.LOVE ALWAYSALAFFYA
