ALAFFYA means peace and love.Greetings my name is Alaffya. Singer songrwiter, composer. I originate from Sierra Leone, west Africa. My musical journey has now span through Africa to now Europe. I give much thanks to thee almighty creator for the guiding grace and will, for blessing me along this journey.Now living in France, i still continue my journey. The guiding grace has been with me and not long after arriving, i started meeting various musicians, in both France and England. This exposure to the way music was conducted in europe was very interesting, in my sight and mind. I come from a very humble backgroud, living and playing my music in nature with the basics, around me, me bredrens and sisdrens. The experience has been and continues to be, very eye opening. The journey for me has been greatly felt and I stand humble to the almighty for the insight of "dis I wisdom". My roots have and always will stay strong and firm. This has been the primary factor in my decision to restart where i left off from, in Sierra Leone.The influences reflect who i am. From African to jazz to rock to blues, you name it.
