About Me
:: GIANLUCA PANDULLO BIOGRAPHY:---------------- Gianluca Pandullo began his career in the early '80s playing the various genres of black music that included funk, disco, and afro rhythms, with a personal interest in electronic music. These roots are still evident in his musical selections. Over the years he has promoted many musical styles; he has played dj sets that included the rhythms of soul, jazz, funk, and latin, as well as everything that has derived from them: hip-hop, house, acid-jazz, trip-hop and drum'n'bass. Gianluca Pandullo is also an avid collector and trader of vinyl. He's a journalist and reviewer, he's also an active promoter, and has worked with the biggest and best-known names in every musical scene. His skills and experience in every musical environment allow him to create a truly original and alternative dj set, with influences that find inspiration in the various styles of House Music, incorporating traces of tech, electro, deep, afro, and jazzy. And all of it meshes perfectly with his innate ability to read the crowd and create an instant mood. He's currently busy with his NEMESI project, on Relish Records, which will soon be releasing its new 12" single: "JURASSICO" and with I-ROBOTS - "LAWS OF ROBOTICS" project out soon on Lucy Lee Quality Recordings; also out soon on Lucy Lee too will be his second single of the project EBBRO produced with Patrick Di Stefano & Nemesi Team.

------------------------------------------:: I-ROBOTS / SPACER WOMAN Third Millenium EP - Cat. No. ELT 001 Elettrica---------------- Spacer Woman - Third millennium - is the second step of the I-Robots project conceived by Gianluca Pandullo, italian dj and record collector after the release of "I-ROBOTS: italo electro disco underground classics", a collection of eigthies undeground traks from italian artist as Robotnik, Capricorn, Kano, Klein & M.B.O., Charlie and more (IRMA DLP 515186-1/CD 515186-2). Mostly inspirated by the '83 original Spacer Woman by Charlie, G.Pandullo moves into the work of reinterpretation of this 'classic' theme in contemporary keys vision of dance. Spacer Woman - Third Millennium - reaches the aim in the form of first 3 tracks EP made by a team of young italian "robotic" producers from Turin-Italy. The 'Spacer Woman' version, starting the single session, is created by the Traum and Kompakt Pop's artist Oxtongue aka Gianluca Pallotta & friends, mantaining the same chord and bassline of the original developing the track into his own personal print of vocoder-pop tech: he gives much more than a cover... Gianluca Pandullo extended his view on the 'Frau' track written together with the italo-dutch couple called UND (Marco Palmieri & Terry Ann Frencken - first EP on Trapez ltd 015). They made congestion of minimal straight beat embittered by acid lines going higher and higher on funny german vocals with dutch accent by T.A.Frencken. Last, again UND on 'Spazer', liquid mix with T.A.Frencken painting english vocals melt to the neverending maniac housey deep atmosfears coloured with something like flurring the Daft Punk 'Revolution 909' track. :: 1. A1: OXTONGUE 'SPACER WOMAN' :: 2. A2: PANDULLO vs UND 'FRAU' :: 3. B1: UND 'SPAZER' :: 4. B2: PANDULLO vs UND 'FRAU' accappella ------------------------------------------------------------

---------------------------------------:: NEMESI - Cosmica & L'asteroide - Relish Records ----------------Nemesi is a recent side project produced with the collaboration of Alessandro Lestino. Their influences go back to the 70s German electronic sound (Tangerine Dream and Kraftwerk) and the Dark sound of 80s and more recently to the electro-rock sound of the moment.
Cosmica in incl. in the Italian E.P. (Original Version) & Italian E.P. Remixes (Lindstrom & Prins Thomas Remix); L'Asteroide 12" Sigle incl. the Original Impact Mix plus 2 different Daniele Baldelli & Marco Dionigi Remixes.----------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------:: NEMESI – JURASSICO – RELISH RECORDINGS :: Release date 07 Dec. 2007 : Third release for this experienced italian project called NEMESI composed by Gianluca Pandullo (I-Robots/Ebbro) and Alessandro Lestino (MusicLab Studio). After years of electronic and synthetic sounds, disco gets more instrumental and Nemesi proved itself to be right and foresighted with their precedent COSMICA (also remixed by LINDSTROM and PRINS THOMAS ) and L'ASTEROIDE (also remixed by cosmic pioneers Daniele Baldelli and Marco Dionigi) , both releases edited by RELISH RECORDS. Boss label HEADMAN can't hide his passion for past attitudes as krautrock, cosmic vibes and old school italo-electro, considering Nemesi as a concrete re-incarnation of those feelings and giving them so much importance and authority in Relish's big mosaic. So here comes JURASSICO where influences sound tasteful and appropriate to make song's title not casual at all: german electronica from 70's, krautrock (with seminal bands like Tangerine Dream, Cluster, Moebius Can e Kraftwerk) dark rock of the 80's.. these are just few of title track's main inputs that make it sound as a lysergic and instrumental improvisation. Live drums, live bass, live percussions, live sounds for a 2007 dancefloor track? Yeah, it seems weird but that's what it is! That's why a human reference as PRINS THOMAS did not miss the good opportunity to remix the track that seems to come out directly from magical cosmic era !! Thomas version definitely probe disco shades of the mix, emphasizing rhythmics and estranging the atmospheres till creating a proper disco tune. NEMESI, why an experienced d.j. duo? Gianluca Pandullo is a well known artist even thanks to pen names like I-ROBOTS ( Boys Noize Rec.) and EBBRO (Lucy Lee Quality recordings): he forged dance hits like FRAU with Und for Boys Noize Rec, he compiled the astonishing I-ROBOTS vol. 1 for Irma records. Alessandro Lestino is the sound engineer, master of the MusicLab Studio, he gives concreteness to waves and sounds from I-ROBOTS & EBBRO to NEMESI productions. Nemesi's L'ASTEROIDE is also included in FABRIC 30 mixed by Rub n Tug and DR.LEKTROLUV 007 compilation; I-Robots' FRAU is included in FABRIC 23 mixed by Ivan Smagghe. EBBRO (project developed in three eps simply called TRE, DUE, UNO) is remixed by LOSOUL, PIER BUCCI and NICK CHACONA & STEFNY. Anyway ... with this last release NEMESI definitely show to know underground history and rework that to more future feelings.. any courage to miss it?
