In many ways I feel like a "parent" of Mualtto. My goal was to promote real music and that is what Mulatto is doing. Yeah! Welcome to our Dreamland!! Support Real Muzik!!!!
Suprise treat! On Wednesday, July 25th, at the Grammy Camp, Mulatto members Dustin Moore and Margis Miles performed with one of Mulatto's favorite bands, Earth, Wind, and Fire. This was a dream come true. Songs performed were Boogie Wonderland, Let’s Groove Tonight, Shining Star, and September. Participants had clinics with EWF musicians and singers, open discussion and forum, and then a big show on stage with the entire EWF Band. See attached photo with Dustin Moore performing with EWF Bassist Verdine White. It was an awesome jam session. One day I would expect a Mulatto EWF concert! They just loved Dustin & Margis and the real music Mulatto is doing. Mulatto is the REAL DEAL!
I love this picture because Markay Fairley was not behind the keys and came out to rock with Luke, Diondre and Dustin. It was a great moment in Mulatto history!
Mulatto was created when Diondre Tribbe's Lyrics were matched with Dustin Moore's compositions and arrangements. Mulatto is now a six piece self-contained original Neo~Soul, Rock, Nu~Jazz, Fusion, and Funk band ready to change the music scene with their unique and refreshing sound. All members compose and contribute in the creation of this wonderful music and together they are MULATTO! This diverse generation of ‘Echo Boomers’ has cross over appeal and a global warning for people to blend into a united and harmonious world. The lyrical content conveys strong, passionate, and expressive messages from real life experiences. Musically, the band thrives on distinct melodic arrangements with flourishing harmonic overtones, flashy percussive fills and breakdowns, and moving bass lines that are robust, and truly heartfelt. The outstanding musicianship of the rhythm section includes smooth and mellow sounds of the trumpet. The high energy, stage performance, showmanship, and groovy dance moves are reminiscent of the self-contained bands of the past. Mulatto is ready to stimulate the world with their positive messages and clean and fresh sound. This is an ethnically diverse group who wants to bring the people of the world together by blending the musical styles from “Baby boomer” legends of the past with a new and refreshing series of melodies, harmonies, and rhythms. Mulatto is sending a global message in their music with a positive sound. • Dustin Moore , is the Musical Director, Co-Founder, Arranger, Bassist (Electric, Acoustic, and Synthesizer), and background vocals for Mulatto.
