Influences: Henry Omar , Founder and creator of 'Omar on The Nile' soft drink. My father was a fantastically wonderful man and bright spirit with an equally bright smile and heart. He was very loving and was there completely for his family. He was big on being a family man, a leader and a provider.I have to say that my father was one of the rare breed of a dynamic being. That is truly what he was to me and that is confirmed by many others around the world who new him personally and professionally.Omar on The Nile, has been around for over thirty years. It is a fruit and vegetable soft drink. My father was an entrepreneur. He owned three+ businesses in his lifetime, including two restaurants, catering service and Hall and also his own juice factory Where my family and I in my earlier years participated in the labor. It was a truly wonderful experience for me and even more so since I understand now what he was working so hard to achieve and be somebody for his children and family could appreciate and look up to. I admire his strength and perseverance more and more everyday. He had a game room put in the downstairs room in one of his restaurants for my friends and I could play. We always ended up playing the video games without putting our own little quarters in the machine. He was just generous like that and he loved making other people happy. He gave me and my friends our first paying jobwhen we waitressed afunction of at least two hundred people at one of his restaurants. It made us feel like we were on top of the world.
I love him so much and I just wanted to put somethingon my Site about him because without the wonderfull life and all that leadership he gave me, I wouldn't know how to pursue what I love to do. Watching him, taught me that!
