2001 Saylove relocated to St. Thomas, USVI where she practiced Natural Medicine, sharing a circle w/ artists such as Vibes Naella, Dezarie, & Niyorah of the Star Lion Family (I-Grade). Saylove hit it off w/ the Universal Zulu Nation (an organization established by the Amen Ra of Hip Hop culture, Afrika Bambaataa) via world spokesman and international drum and bass pioneer, TC Izlam, in 2001, connecting w/ UZN B-Boys in Puerto Rico 02.
2003 Saylove returned to study philosophy, completing her BA at the University of Southern Maine in 2007. Saylove practices yoga, meditation, a live-food lifestyle, turntablism, graffitti art, emceeing, & break dancing.
Saylove has opened for acts such as Kool Keith, The Coup, & Killah Priest, and has shared the stage with (Portland, ME) performers such as Hanifa, Sontiago, Lab 7, Brzowski, DJ Boondocks, DJ Shade, Kenmor & Dr. No, Gabe FM, DJ Jon, The Don Santos, Alt, Rent, Bread, Msl, Boombazi, Dreamosaic, Ms. Kentigian, Port Veritas, & Vanessa Torres & Touching Ground. Saylove was voted 2nd runner up as Best Hip Hop Act of 2007 in the Portland Phoenix.
Beyond her work as a performing artist and deejay in night clubs and over the airwaves, Saylove facilitates workshops for non-violence w/in correctional facilities, working in collaboration w/ AVP, The Portland League of Young Voters, Evolve 2 Advance, Add Verb Productions, The Meg Perry Center, Youth Alternatives, & WMPG.
